Oregon RFID Low Frequency Mobile Reader

Oregon RFID has developed a new backpack portable reader system being used by government agencies responsible for maintaining the quality of breeding grounds and waterways for fish populations.
When a tagged fish, underwater rocks or trees are detected, their unique IDs are captured in a database. A hand-held PDA displays the information associated with the tags. Entire system weighs under 10 pounds and can run for 5 hours.
