Active Asset Portable Reader for RFID ASSET TRACKING

This portable reader is ideal for taking Long Range asset inventory in the field. Wavetrend Technologies Active tags are detected up to 100 feet away from the reader. Power can be adjusted for controlled range coverage.

Reader features a Bluetooth Radio interface which can conveniently connect to any Bluetooth enabled computer terminal. The reader is configured with a unique Bluetooth address providing a secure data connection to its host.

Upon power-up initialization the reader establishes its Bluetooth communications connection and initializes the Active RFID reader. The reader is configured for AutoPoll mode and continually transmits packets of data associated with all of the active tags that are detected.

The reader consists of a Wavetrend Technologies R-500 Active Reader, Bluetooth Radio, Battery Pack, internal Battery Charger all housed in an indestructible plastic housing. Wall mount power supply included.
